We have taken out Krishi Yatras in Punjab with the specific purpose to encourage farmers not to burn their bio mass residue but to convert all the raw materials into organic soil. Showing them how it is done.
We have encouraged farmers to grow organic by assuring to buy back their produce at prices higher than the market rate.
We have made demonstration farms so farmers can come and visit and see for themselves how successfully plants can be grown even using only organic methods.
